In the beginning of November I was lucky enough to attend a quilting
retreat. This is my third Fall retreat and I get so much accomplished during these retreats. It is about the only time I have for quilting. I worked on nothing but Lexi's quilt and was able to complete the top. I stayed up until 3:00 quilting (some stayed up until 4:00) and was so glad to have something to show for all the time I put into it. The top is now completed and Lexi's quilt just needs to be sandwiched and then quilted. I am using "JUST," lightly, since the above should just take about 50 hours to complete. Definitely a labor of love that I thoroughly enjoy.

My friend Cyndi worked on an adorable mermaid quilt for her daughter,
Brianna. My girls would definitely like one of these. Cyndi's quilt is machine appliqued. A
lot of work.

They have Fresno State fabric, go figure. There is some fabric for UCLA in production being made by a company named Sykes Fabrics and distribution should take place to a company named Hancock's at the end of December. I have called the UCLA bookstore only to be transferred a million times and place on eternal hold. Dead end. Enjoy the photos.
