My least favorite Japanese food, so far!

My least favorite Japanese food so far is a dish called nutto. The Japanese eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the top of the page is my friend, Junko eating a deliciuos bowl of nutto for breakfast, see the spider web like strings? When I took a trip with my Japanese Ladies Culture Group in February, they served nutto for breakfast. The Japanese ladies were trying to get me to try it and my friend Aggie was covertly shaking her head no, no, don't do it. It looked like Rice Krispie Treats before they harden. My friends,please don't ever let the looks fool you. Nutto is fermented soy beans. Aggie said it was slimy. I don't know if they lost me at fermented or slimy, but I said no thanks to trying it as one of the Nutto strings that looked like part of a spider web was hanging off of my friends face.
A few weeks ago Karina and Lauren tried to get me to try some nutto that was disguised as sushi. I asked what it was and they said a nutto roll. I quickly shook my head no. No, no, no. I got Lexi to try it though, what a cruel Mom I am! Lexi confirmed it was disgusting as she made the most God awful face.
Even my Japanese friend Lisa says Nutto makes her stomach turn. Nutto, just say no!
