My good friend Lisa and I take the kids to make cookies at our local mall on Japanese holidays, no Yochien/preschool. For $8 we spend 2 hours making wonderful cookies. They provide the dough, a large selection of cookie cutters, bake the cookies, decorations and frosting for cookies and coloring while the cookies are baking. Plus they provide adorable bags to put the cookies in. The kids have so much fun and feel so... grown up rolling out the dough and using the spatulas.
Afterwords some yummy soba or udon noodles for lunch. It is a great way to spend the day with my sweeties and one of my best friends! Thanks Lisa!
