Happy Birthday Sweetie!

John's "Labor of Love", Alexander's room.

Happy Birthday Sweetie! John I just want to wish you a very happy birthday and I can't wait to celebrate with you and our family. You have got to stop giving chocolate cake up for Lent John, it ruins the whole chocolate cake idea.
This year my parents and I bought John a new grill for his birthday. He loves it. Lexi made some beautiful cards for Daddy. Alexander, Anika and Lexi gave Daddy a chocolate fondue fountain ( he plans on using it after Lent, poor planing on my part).

Due to unforeseen circumstances John chose not to celebrate his birthday on his birthday, one reason was because it was a work day and he worked late getting ready for his TDY. So on Saturday, Daddy slept in, but was up before we could bring him breakfast in bed. After lunch we had homemade lemon cake with a lemon filling and lemon frosting. John opened his presents and MaMaw and PaPaw Waskiewicz gave John a really neat train set. Our baby sitter, Patti watched the kidlets in the evening and John and I had a wonderful dinner and saw the "Good German". We really enjoyed ourselves, but John and I both agreed that the only "Good" part of the film was in the title. Definitely not one of George Clooney's best films. The movie was still enjoyable because it gave us the time to snuggle, eat popcorn, enjoy a glass of wine, some peace and quiet, relaxing and just spend time together as a couple.

Happy birthday to the love of my life. I love you.

Love,
Jacquie
