Culture Group Reunion

A few weeks ago our friends, Jill and Steve graciously hosted a Japanese/American Culture Group Reunion. This is the group that I joined for a 10 week Wednesday night course in the fall. Suzieson and Kennyson have been running culture groups for 30 years. They have a culture group in the fall and one in the spring every year, so they have hosted 61 culture groups. The rest of the Japanese side of our group is composed of employees from Olympus. Our group is wonderful, generous and diverse. We had hotdogs and hamburgers and a plethera of dishes brought by all. Suzieson will be showing us how to make some Japanese curry dishes at our house on March 2nd, it should be fun. Maybe we will play Pictionary.

Last night, John and I went to a beautiful French Restaurant, called St. Marcs. The food is delicious, especially the fresh rolls that they continiously bring to your table. They have about 15 varities of rolls, orange, garlic, cheese, onion, etc... There was a pianist and it was snowing heavily so we could see the beautiful, snow covered trees through the atrium. From there we saw the hysterically, funny, comedian, Sinbad. We laughed for almost 2 hours. He was so.... funny and NEVER swore once. The Air Force sponsered the show. This is the 3rd time he has been to Yokota and he was in the Air Force at one time. After the show he was signing autographs and taking photos with everyone, but we didn't stick around we wanted to go home and play Dance Dance Revelution on our new Wii that Dad and Mom W bought for us for all of our birthdays! Thanks Mom and Dad, it is so much fun to play, you will have to come out here and try it:)
