Alexander's Milestones

At 20 months Alexander can;

1. Can give a high five and with his Daddy he does a high five and then dukes (touching each others knuckles with a fist)


2. Has been fighting naps, big time, in the last 3 weeks (he did not get the memo that at 20 months he still needs to nap)


3. Just loves the water, especially bath time


4. Says, "No" to anything and everything even when he means yes


5. Has just started banging his forehead on the floor when he doesn't get his way (I am pretty sure he will stop that soon


6. Loves to play with the kitchen set and make dinner with Anika while Mommy cooks dinner(do we have a future Chef?)


7. Worships the big vacuum so we bought him a toy vacuum cleaner, just like Mommies, he loves to vacuum (his wife is going to love me for domesticating him)


8. Jibber jabs a lot and then in the middle of the jibber jab will say something perfectly clear such as, "Blah, blah, blah, it's raining, blah, blah, blah"


9. Alexander eats a lot and is NOT picky, he loves mac 'n cheese, strawberries and watermelon


10. Started walking at the end of 16 months, my late walker, no rush for him to grow up


11. Is a Momma's boy and is a constant fixture to my hip


12. Loves to cuddle with Momma


13. Loves his sister Anika, but won't hesitate for a second to tackle her if she takes a toy away


14. Loves to play outside


15. Loves, "Bark, Barks" (dogs)


16. Loves to be tickled


17. Dances in circles


18. Stands with Anika at the front screen door, they are the town criers and great everyone walking by


19. Loves his Daddy


20. Loves the slide


21. Loves pancakes


22. Gives Mama big kisses and hugs


23. Laughs a lot and started crying a lot again (I thought we were done with that at 8 months)


24. Likes to eat dirt and play with bugs


25. Says "Up, Up" all the time with arms outstretched while squeezing his hands open and closed (this is when he isn't attached to my hip:)


26. Points to things and says "More, more"
