Trying to keep up...

Hi All,

Okay, this is just a quick update so that you know we have not forgotten about the Blog, we've just been way too busy to post or update..... With three little sets of feet running around, it is difficult for Jacquie or I to find time to keep up with everything.

Just so everyone knows, Zander is doing very well and growing everyday. His sleeping habits are still in a state of flux. We never know what we are to expect when we go to bed at night. Sometimes he gets up twice during the night and some nights, he only gets up once (like last night) what a treat that was!

Anika has reached that very cute and funny stage.She is running all over the place and chatting up a storm. She is not afraid to speak her mind either. If you ask her a question and she does not want to answer or do what you ask, she tells you NOooo, or if she is really in the mood, she says Nein! She is giving everyone kisses when asked and is a great big helper! When she sees something like a piece of paper on the floor, she will pick it up and throw it in the trash can. I think she is going to be an engineer like her mommies side of the family as she is always taking things apart too see how they work or to try and fix them.

Lexi well, what can I say about Lexi? She is growing up so fast! She is really a GREAT Big help and a fantastic big sister. She is always helping Mom with getting things for her brother and sister and helping Mom with picking up all the toys Anika has strung out around the house. And believe me, Anika can spread out the toys! You would think you were walking through a daycare center sometimes. Lexi is now in the 3rd grade (German School) and is doing great! She really loves Math. She is always trying to test us with multiplication questions.

Jacquie and I are doing well. The kids are keeping us busy, but that is what Family is all about. We are now attempting to get back to some sort of normalcy (if there is such a thing). We have gone out for a day of golf the other week and we are looking to head out to the links this Sunday for date day. We are also in the planning stages to head off to Rome for the weekend (sans kids, yeah!) As of this past Tuesday, Jacquie and I have started trying to get back into shape since having Anika and Zander. Yes, even Dad had sympathy weight gain. We have both started eating healthy meals (not that we weren't eating well before) and we have started getting out and walking and exercising more.

Well, I think I went on long enough for now. I will save some stuff for Jacquie to post. We send our love to all and love hearing from everyone!
