2 weeks ago it was sunny and warm for January, an heard of 65 degrees for January 14. We took an 8 mile family walk/run. Since we had No............... snow I was ready for spring. Although I had this feeling we were ready for a surprise and that is exactly what we got. 2 weeks later almost a foot of snow within 12 hours or less.
Today was the first day we saw snow. How lovely it was. The whole area of Stuttgart was virtually at a standstill. SO John had a snow day, whereas Lexi did not, because all the children in the village walk to school. One of my friends husbands attempted to go to work only to turn around less than halfway to work after 2 1/2 hours of driving, normally it takes him 45 minutes to get to work, I don't now how long it took him to get home after the 2 1/2 hours of driving. Road conditions were "Black", which I have never seen in 8
years of living overseas.

The poor puppies can't even walk outdoors to potty, they'll get lost!
Now that's the GERMANY I miss...looks like the day Addie was born!
