She looks mad, but she is just concentrating. I promise!
Last week Lexi and Anika's fantastic ballet teacher Ms. Deb allowed parental visitation during their classes. She allows this only twice a year. My Wednesday's are a bit hectic and start off with dropping Anika off at school off base, going straight to PWOC, Protestant Women of the Chapel, which is a bible study open to ALL denominations. From PWOC I go home or to the park with Zander and eat lunch, pick Anika up from preschool, put Zander down for a nap and keep Anika up for a nap (although this last Wednesday backfired, she was begging to take a nap, that was a first). I take Anika to ballet go back home and pick Lexi up. I pick Anika up from ballet and drop Lexi off and go home and make dinner. John usually picks Lexi up from ballet, if possible, which is extremely helpful, by this time I have crossed the flight line 10 times, which takes about 15-20 minutes on a good day. Usually Wednesday's seem to be the C-130's touch and go days and that is precisely what it is so sometimes you can sit at the red light to cross the flight line anywhere from 5-15 minutes. I have learned not to stress and bring reading material just in case I end up waiting to cross the flight line. Last week I forgot to factor in that I would be watching Anika's class rather than going to pick Lexi up, so Lexi was late by just a few minutes. It was great to watch what the girls are doing. All the chauffering is definately worth it. Lexi is doing really well with tap, especially since this is her first year with tap. Enjoy the video and don't forget to pause the blog music so you can hear. I just love these videos, they are so... sweet!
