Gettin' Jiggy wit' it!

My "friends" before the Will Smith photo op. Elizabeth, her son Jacob, Sarah and her son Baby David. I am just kidding they are still my wonderful neighbors and friends.

Elizabeth dancing with Jacob.
Will makes his entrance.
Better pull out the big guns to keep the desperate housewives at bay.

20 some years ago I worked at a health spa where many celebs came to stay, some for long periods of time. The spa offered many exercise programs and classes and some great, 5 star healthy food. I worked in the dining room and was lucky enough to be able to use all the facilities and eat the wonderful, gourmet food.

I worked there for 2 years and the only celebrities that captured my interest were Oprah and Will Smith. They were the most down to earth and real people, just genuinely nice people. Will stayed at the spa for almost 2 months, trying to bulk up for his next movie. He spent a majority of his time playing basketball with the wait staff.

Sarah with the Oscar winning Director and Producer, now if I could just remember their names. Help! Anyone?????????

Last week Will visited Yokota Air Base to promote his upcoming movie, "I am Legend". One lucky person was chosen to walk the red carpet in Tokyo with Will, the Oscar winning Director and producer. I was not that person, but it was a nice day. It added a little variety to our lives here in Japan. There wasn't any paparazzi for Will and his entourage to contend with, so it made for a more relaxed visit. There were several airmen with M-9's and glocks to keep the hysterical housewives at bay. Just kidding, not about the guns, but the crowd was well behaved. Except Elizabeth, Sarah and me, we were crazy, just kidding about that too, but we did have some good laughs.

Will is just as down to earth as he was 20 years ago. Of course he remembered me from the spa days, not, of course I would never ask. They showed a clip of the movie, the crowd asked Will questions, he signed some autographs and took some pictures with deployed spouses.

My friends and I left early, because the kids had reached defcon 5 and they were calling the shots, it was time to go.
When the director and producer were walking around, I thanked them for coming to visit it us and let them know it was nice to have a little variety in our day, something different for us to do. He was so nice and responded, "Thank you for having us, it gives us a little something different to do. Plus I got to fly on a Black hawk Helicopter from Tokyo, now that was fun."

This is the infamous photo, is that a growth coming out of Sarah's neck? No, it is just Jacquie. I see how you are guys, just elbow and squeeze me out of the photo. Just kidding, they only karate kicked me out of the way. Ha, ha!

Since Will and I go way........ back (ha,ha), I just want to thank him for coming to Yokota to support our troops! Enjoy the photos. I am also going to try and upload the video that I took, but I am going to need help for that. Now that I have said such nice things I will probably get a phone call from Will's publicist, telling me I am being sued for posting these on my blog.
